It is frightening and difficult to face death, but face it we must. Each and every one of us, ready or not.
Timeworks is ready.
Timeworks is here to eliminate the fear and mystery of death, and to help you and your loved ones prepare for a better dying and grieving experience.
The ideal time to prepare your End of Life decisions is when you are healthy and capable. We often plan our funerals and write our wills in advance, with the intention of making the dying process easier on our loved ones. This is a good thing.
However, there are many more End of Life decisions to consider when the goal is to alleviate the stress and anxiety that will burden our loved ones. At the end of life, how much money you earned, or the coffin you choose don't really matter. What matters is that you and your loved ones share the best possible ending.
Throughout your life, you may have made passing remarks about your death in terms of what you don't want to happen. For example, "I don't want to be kept alive by machines". "If _________happens, try this _______but I don't want _________", or "Please don't let me get like that". What is "that" for you?
By taking full control of your end of life decisions, you give your loved ones the gift of relief. It may not seem so, but planning your final days down to the last moments allows the focus, without fear and doubt, to be on the love and relationships that surround you as you take your leave.
Timeworks Doula Care is focused on "normalizing" death and dying as an inevitable and deeply meaningful part of life.
